Painting in our time

In an age where things are constantly changing it is difficult to determine what is real. What is painting. Scrolling continuously, placing “content” in the back burners of our brain where it belongs just because that’s what we do, that’s what we are. We convince ourselves to participate because we need to. These paintings are becoming from a place that is the opposite yet partially derived from that. Developed in the same way yet only through life experiences. Maybe representing one thing , a form, creating a picture or maybe nothing at all.
